SUP RACE – TERMS & CONDITIONS

By registering for either the Fun Race or Challenge Race hosted by The SUP Store in partnership with RNLI Mudeford, you agree to the following terms:

1. Eligibility

Participants must be aged 18 or over on the day of the race.
You must have basic paddleboarding ability for the Fun Race and intermediate–advanced ability for the Challenge Race (including confident board control and turning skills).

2. Equipment

You may use an inflatable or hard board up to 12’6 in length.
A leash and PFD (personal flotation device) must be worn at all times during the race — no exceptions.
Race numbers and pins will be provided and must be worn on your leg as instructed.

3. Race Conduct

This is a non-contact race — aggressive or unsafe behaviour will result in disqualification.
All participants must follow the course layout and turn directions. Marshals’ decisions are final.
Any participant deemed unfit or unsafe to compete on the day may be withdrawn from the race at the discretion of the organisers.

4. Safety & Responsibility

All racers take part at their own risk.
The SUP Store, RNLI Mudeford, and any affiliated parties are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to you or your equipment.
Ensure you are medically fit and understand the risks involved in participating in water-based sports.

5. Photos & Media

By entering, you agree that photos and videos taken during the event may be used for promotional purposes by The SUP Store and RNLI Mudeford.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Entry fees are non-refundable, including in cases of bad weather, cancellation, or withdrawal.
In the event of poor conditions, we reserve the right to alter, postpone, or cancel the race for safety reasons.
